The Blueprint (Role Profile)
The Powder Paint Operator in our York, PA facility is responsible for operating equipment to paint and finish Campbell Chain parts and accessories. This is a 1st shift position, working 4 days a week 10 hours per day Monday through Thursday 6 AM to 4 PM daily.

The Build (Responsibilities)
- Operate powder coat paint equipment and burn off oven to produce the specified finish on Apex products.
- Load unpainted parts on hangers, remove painted parts from hangers, and place painted parts in clean lined metal tubs.
- Follow standard operating procedures or special instructions.
- Maintain and monitor proper grounding, line speed, temperature, filter pressures, paint levels, and air control needed to meet specifications.
- Perform quality and thickness testing.
- Clean paint booth daily and/or at each color change. Clean paint booth room and cool down room periodically.
- Perform various preventative maintenance duties such as changing filters, replacing pump and gun components, and changing out paint line cross bars.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product, including reporting non-conforming materials.
- Report unusual conditions or questionable items to a team leader or supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of similar work experience.
- Work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week) including Fridays as required.
- Stand and walk continuously for 8 hours.
- Able to reach overhead and hang parts.
- Climb stairs and ladders.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
