The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Apex Tool Group’s York, PA facility has an opportunity for co-operative program internship in Spring 2026 with a large focus on manufacturing engineering. The position requires a flexible person who is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around heavy equipment.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Assist with daily engineering duties.
  • Create CMM machine inspection programs.
  • Assist with process documentation and lean manufacturing support.
  • Learn SAP Master Data for manufacturing support.
  • Work with SAP Master Data support, Excel workbooks, and Access databases.
  • Participate in kaizens.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Junior enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering degree program with a co-operative requirement.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks drafting software.
  • Mechanical design and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch continuously.
  • Climb stairs and ladders.
