The Blueprint (Role Profile)

The Sr. Supply Planner, GEARWRENCH will be responsible for all supply chain aspects of supply planning, as well as strategic account management to support end-to-end business processes.  The position will oversee supply planning activities for the GEARWRENCH brand and will drive continuous improvement efforts in service level, inventory, and overall execution. Additionally, this role will include the management of tactical supply planning responsibilities.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for developing and managing strategic supply plans in collaboration with Demand, Supply and other internal departments as they relate to supply chain
  • Deliver supply chain KPIs to hit ATG targets for Amazon, and other key accounts, by facilitating cross-functional alignment and fostering an environment of teamwork.
  • Drive enhancements and continuous improvement within data and planning tools such as SAP, Kinaxis, and TableauLead supply planning for GEARWRENCH brand to deliver service level, inventory targets and financial management goals in accordance with annual ATG metrics
  • Lead S&OP processes for respective brand
  • Identify and implement changes to increase supply chain efficiency within internal groups including commercial, demand, procurement, transportation, and operations teams
  • Provide supply planning leadership to support the GEARWRENCH product team, remote collaboration or onsite as needed.
  • Drive process improvement in accordance with ATG’s core values and objectives

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with continuous progression managing supply chain entities
  • S&OP knowledge and the ability to translate analytics into a proficient manner for multiple levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical aptitude and full end-to-end understanding of supply chain management.
  • Experience working in a matrixed and collaborative environment, acting as a cross functional liaison between Manufacturing, Distribution, Customer Service and Finance teams to maximize service levels and inventory turns
  • Strong project management experience with global reach
  • SAP experience in modules related to Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Kinaxis Maestro platform (preferred) or a similar advanced planning software (required)
  • Travel up to 25% of time and take meetings outside of standard business hours on a once or twice monthly basis
