The Blueprint (Role Profile)

The focus of this role will be to serve as the subject matter expert for rebate analysis, forecasting, and processing. This will require cross-functional collaboration partnering with different sales and marketing teams. The financial analyst will take ownership of our entire rebate process, from data input to forecasting and budgeting. This role will support our North America finance team helping to complete monthly and quarterly financial rhythms and deliverables.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Work with sales and marketing teams to understand various rebate programs.
• Prepare and review supporting documentation for each rebate program.
• Input changes and new rebate programs into SAP.
• Maintain rebate systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of credit memos.
• Review rebate accruals and progress towards growth targets
• Review, analyze, and improve current rebate processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Streamline workflows across channels and customers to add efficiencies for commercial and finance teams.
• Work with the Finance team to complete forecast and budget process.
• Help support the North America finance team with various close tasks.
• Be an active member of the finance team supporting the business to complete forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis responsibilities. 

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• 0-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analyst
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP, Tableau, and/or Hyperion
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate in a cross functional environment.
• Self-motivated and problem-solving approach to new responsibilities
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to balance competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
