The Blueprint (Role Profile)

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven individual to lead our sales efforts as the Director of Sales, North America. This key leadership role will be responsible for building, growing and nurturing a successful Omnichannel and multi-country sales team. driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and fostering strong client relationships across the North American region. The Director of Sales will oversee a team of regional sales managers and agents, guiding their efforts to achieve company objectives and exceed sales targets.

The Build (Responsibilities)

Team Leadership: provide strategic direction and guidance to a team of regional sales managers and agents, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration with Sales Peers in Other Divisions: work closely with sales counterparts in other divisions within the company to share best practices, align strategies, and leverage synergies to maximize overall sales performance and drive business growth across the organization.

Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and enhance overall business performance.

Talent Development: recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent, providing training, mentoring, and career development opportunities to support professional growth and succession planning.

Strategic Partnerships: identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and drive business growth within the North American region.

Client Relationship Management: cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Strategy Deployment: execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals across the North American region.

Performance Management: establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of sales efforts, providing regular feedback and coaching to optimize performance and drive results.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting: forecast sales projections, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Compliance: ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining integrity and transparency in all sales activities.

Market Analysis: conduct thorough market analysis to identify growth opportunities, industry trends, and competitive threats, informing strategic decision-making and sales initiatives.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Gung-Ho attitude to buy into ambitious growth plans and initiatives and to deliver on them with timely reporting and by proposing intermediate adjustments.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of the North American market and industry trends.
  • Working knowledge of Spanish is a solid plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
