The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising hourly employees. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

The Build (Responsibilities)
- Leads and directs day-to-day responsibilities of work, scheduling, quality, safety, while interfacing with other supervisors and managers as needed to meet the production schedule.
- Liaison between the needs of the production employees and senior leadership team.
- Provide employee coaching and development, resolve employee issues and grievances through problem resolution, track absenteeism and timekeeping.
- Develop and implement manufacturing methods, quality standards, and perform cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
- Identifies and directs implementation of improvement opportunities by securing relevant information, asking effective questions, and developing solutions. Advocates for change and growth.
- Interact with applicable engineering staff on piece part design, process development and improvement.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
- Lead and direct departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 8-10 years of relative experience required.
- 7-10 years of experience in a production environment preferred.
- Leadership experience required including performance management and time management.
- Strong problem solving/analysis skills required.
- Results driven mindset required, with the ability to influence innovation and change
- Strong communication skills
