Opportunity available for a 1st Shift Material Handler in our Jonesboro, AR plant. This position operates a forklift to move, load, and unload materials to support production. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Operate propane lift truck to move work-in-process, raw, and finished goods to and from manufacturing to the warehouse or designated area.
• Load and unload trucks as required. 
• Move, lift, or stack material. 
• Perform cycle count on raw, work-in-process, and finished goods as required.
• Receive, store, record, and deliver incoming materials to proper location. 
• Resolve questions as to product identification, stock number, quantities, etc. 
• Scan finished good from manufacturing and scan to warehouse bin.
• Stage packed items on skids.
• Band, stretch wrap, label, and verify orders before loaded on outbound carriers.
• Perform confirmations of transactions as required. 
• Collect and process material to be recycled.
• Receive raw materials, stage, verify shipments, and tag incoming raw material. 
• Segregate and dispose of scrap and trash waste as required. 
• Coordinate and expedite material with various departments. 
• Coordinate and schedule incoming/outgoing material with other shifts as required. 
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service.
• Report unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent. 
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.
• Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
