Support production needs and other aspects of the business by operating various machines in response to customer demand. 

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Set up and operate equipment in the UJ Mill area like Bridgeport, finish mill, hone, tube drill.
• Completely required quality and production documentation
• Use required inspection methods and gauges to ensure quality
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Follow plant rules and safety glasses

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Technical school certification, or 1 year equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to continually stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms (overhead reaching), push or pull and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
