The Blueprint (Role Profile)

The Tools Assembler – 12B will report to the 2nd Shift Supervisor and will be in the UJ department.

The Build (Responsibilities)

•   Assemble various machined parts to customer standards.
•          Setup and operate various assembly and fabrication equipment to produce quality parts, while meeting productivity targets set by the Company.
•           Read and interpret engineering product drawings, ensure quality standards through assembly process
•           Complete required quality and production documentation.
•           Use inspection methods such as gauges to ensure parts are to customer standard
•          Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow plant safety rules and policies.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

•        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
•          While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to continually stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (overhead reaching), push or pull and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
•          While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
•          Strong Problem-solving abilities
•          2+ years of manufacturing experience.
