The Merchandise Coordinator is focused on executing and deploying the merchandising strategy and systems for Crescent and GEARWRENCH. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, this role is at the center of the division’s efforts to accelerate our depth and breadth of penetration in focus channels and ensure best-in-class showroom visibility. Partnering cross-functionally, this role creates the programs and materials that showcase the brand at the point of sale.

The Build (Responsibilities)
- Organize and execute all aspects of merchandising projects and meetings
- Coordinates with sales and channel teams to gather data on the optimal programming for merchandising and conversions for our customers
- Assists in the development of new merchandising materials based on new category expansion or field feedback
- Actively executes on NPD program merchandising launch needs to ensure proper merchandising materials for launch are delivered, working closely with Merchandising Manager to ensure the intended strategy is executed
- Overseeing the delivery of projects and adjusting as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards
- Tracks progress to ensure tasks and projects are completed on time
- Actively manages the merchandising master list and order form updates
- Implements bi-annual merchandising catalog updates and launch plans
- Communicates with stakeholders about projects, events, and goals of the projects
- Creates launch communications for new materials. Creates periodic field communications to share best practices, success stories, and results.
- Identifies cost reduction and simplification opportunities by working closely with the merchandise manager to implement
- Coordinates closely with customer service on any changes or new developments to programs
- Collects program performance data, analyzes for ROI, and publishes to stakeholders
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
- 2+ years relevant experience in sales, channel, or marketing in a distributed branded company
- Preferred 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Detail oriented with proven organization and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and Adobe. SAP, Smartsheet and Wrike experience are a bonus.
- Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to influence and follow up with others utilizing exceptional oral and written communication abilities
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to incorporate data-driven insights into programs
- Strong bias for action, urgency
